Hot Cinnamon Candy

Ingredients
3-1/2 cups sugar
1 Cup white Karo syrup
1 cup boiling water
1 cup powedered sugar
1 tsp red food coloring
1 tsp cinnamon oil

Directions
Sprinkle a liberal amount of powedered sugar on to 2 cookie sheets (cover well so candy does not stick). Coook sugar, Karo syrup and water to 290°F. Add cinnamon oil and food color. Be very carefful of the fumes. Mix well and pour evenly (and slowly) over sugared pans. Spread candy carefully. Work quickly. Allow to cool. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top of candy. Crack and enjoy.
